OK, I don't take new year resolutions...I never have and never will.
I don't want to lose weight, I don't want to do more sports.
And I seriously don't have any goals in life other than being happy...so maybe that's what I should work on...find some goals...and decide what makes me happy.
I'd like to set up a newsletter for my shops but I am not sure I want to bother...
I'd like to travel more but I don't even own a passport any more ...and, well, I don't have the money for that either. I'd still really like to attend that conference by one of my heroes, Jacques Vallée...but that's in Phoenix, Arizona...next month so that doesn't seem very realistic.
A steady money income would be really cool but after years of trying, I kind of gave up on that too. I mean, you cannot keep on trying things that just don't work again and again...To keep your sanity and some self-esteem, you just have to let go. I let go and am much happier...but very aimless.
It is strange to me that in this word you're pretty much only defined by your goals and job, like if you don't have either you're a non-person. Maybe I should join a buddhist monastery, but could I take the cats along? And wouldn't I be cold? And I am not that big on meditation.
Let's go by a lottery ticket or run after golden unicorns...

I don't really set goals either anymore, it does not do me any good, just adds stress in my life.
I think all people are different, and we all have to find our way through life. Happiness can be many things!
Wish you be happy in this year! Agree, that we all are different, but we all can be happy in different ways!
Yeah, what label do I paste on you if you don't belong anywhere?
And don't do anything? And don't own anything?
Seems you're just Dina, but just being Dina is cool enough for me.
More hugs!

You are my girl! :)
Nicely put Nathalie! After all happiness it's all that matters!
Hear, hear!
Love your thoughts! Yes indeed...
The goal of being happy is the best there is! All other goals are just little details :)
Too much choices left you aimless.
I think your decision of letting it go and accepting what didn't work out so well, is probably the best.
Lot's of hugs from me, you are certainly not a non-person :)
I feel the same as you about not having any resolutions. Just one goal -- to be happy -- generally sums it up all year round and can be applied to everything!!!
