It is so cute and tiny. The blue thing next to her is a regular plastic bottle cap filled with water.
I gave it some catfood, wanted to find some bugs but only found a gigantic fly. So catfood will have to do until tonight. It doesn't look hurt, but I am no bat expert...
The pictures appear very bright, but I put my little bat in a shadowy corner to keep it away from sunlight and cats 'arm.
I'll try to release it tonight when it's dark.
Bat updates: Sadly my little bat (I had named her Cracra) died 2 nights ago. I am so sad as she seemed to be doing so well. She ate and drank and moved around her box.
Well, RIP Cracra.
Aww, cute! My partner loves bats!
YYUUUCK!!!!! I hate bats :( They tangle on our hair and are super creepy :(
Sweet of you to take care of it though..
oh so tiny; hubby loves bats too. But he doubt if it will survive... I hope it does Nathalie !
Such a cuttie! Watch out when releasing they often are rabbies carriers!
Oh Nanouke, it's so tiny and fluffy and cute. You wouldn't believe how soft it is.
such a tiny beauty! be careful with it: wear gloves when you'll try to release it!
That's a surprise! Do you mean the cat carried the bat to your house? I don't know if you have some sort of wild animal rescue centre over there? They could be the best help, I bet. Here in Finland bats are protected species. Good luck, keep us posted!
I see them flying over our meadow in the evening and one flew in the other day. Confused by the wide open window..
Hope the little fellow is ok and will fly off soon :-D
EEK! Not a fan of bats for me....
I voted for your crocs contest! Good luck! ;D
