Wednesday- Friday- Saturday favorites

Huh, ok this a Wednesday, Friday...Saturday favorites post... without a computer I have not been browsing the web much...and got really out of the blogging loop.

 One of my Instagram discoveries... Foxville Art (aka Anoosha Syed). I simply love her style and art. I am not sure why she hasn't been whisked away by Disney, Pixart or Tim Burton yet.
She has a shop here but personally I like what she posts on Instagram better.

Another Instagram discovery, I love her too, Frau Ottilie...I'll soon have some of her art on my walls...I just cannot make up my mind...bugs, bunnies, foxes,cats... She has a Dawanda store and here is her Instagram . 

 I admit...it's so tacky, and the bad Photoshop job doesn't help...but I still love those bedsheets. Galaxy duvet cover set by Anlye on Amazon.

 To make up for my previous tacky choice, here is a gorgeous and classy ceramic candle holder by TwoTreeWorld on Etsy. (she also has ceiling lampshades...just as gorgeous...)

My new favorite clothing brand, Yumi. I kept seeing their sweaters and dresses all over the blogs I check...but I had never seen one of their items for real...well, unfortunately a nearby shop recently started carrying the brand. OK, expensive, but really nice quality.

 The Yumi camera dress and jumper are from last spring collection...had I known how nice they are, I probably would have ordered them. Maybe I can still find them somewhere...If I remember right they also had a T-shirt...
I am so sorry to say that even their "plainer" clothes (as in "without cute prints") are really nice too....

Friday favorites

Wednesday favorites ...on Thursday

Yes, I know it is Thursday...but the  weather has been incredibly nice and warm so I spent a lot of time in the garden...and not so much browsing the internet this week...
So what did I like this week...

 It was actually so warm even  in the evenings that I did some star gazing ....I saw a shooting star too *_*  This is a  starry locket handprinted by locketfox on Etsy. This constellation is Aquarius, it is not my star sign but it is the constellation I like best.

One of my favorite blogs ever! I keep checking it several times a day even though it is updated only once a week or so ;) Plumdog Blog by Emma Chichester Clark is one of the cutest things you can see on the www. If the style is familiar (tell me I am not the only one into children books) it is because Emma is also behind the Blue Kangooroo children book series. She also illustrated a version of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass . Yeah, OK, I am a fan :D 

I also played with the cats a lot, made some custom orders, finished my first guerilla gardening session of the year, cooked a lot... I guess I accidentally switched to summer mode a bit early...

Wednesday favorites

 A cardboard cuckoo clock...how cute and fun! It is by hellopetie on Dawanda. It is a real clock but the pine cones don't move and the bird doesn't tweet...which would be a good thing in my book as I am not too keen on high pitched noises...nor any noises in general.

 A mighty cute cat bag by Muchacha available on Ebay and other places on the web. I already own a tiny Muchacha purse...so cute...so perfect. I might have to buy this bag...

This house. If I had had more  decent photos of this one, it would have deserved an entire post. Typical Art Déco house from this area of Belgium. That specific one is in Dour. Dour was very prosperous for the first half of the 20th century. It still has some amazing Art Déco houses and buildings, though most are not in very good condition now and the whole town could easily be qualified as "fourth world" now. I spent most of my childhood there. I remember taking long walks in town with my gran. She lived there all her life so she knew all the streets and shortcuts and cute alleys. I guess that's where my taste for Art Déco architecture comes from. I'd see all those beautiful houses, visited a few where my gran's friends lived. I did go inside the house pictured here. It had the most beautiful  round staircase (in the round part of the house on the right on the first picture) with beautiful colored glass paneled windows. The house is actually for sale now, I am tempted to ask for a visit so I could peek through those cute little windows at the top. It must be the best attic ever.

 A very unusual house for sale in Malibu. I really like it...it is a mix between a Flintstones house and something out of the Planet of The Apes movies. I love how the kitchen and bathroom are pretty much carved in the walls. Too bad it used to belong to some creep who had it built with slavery money.

 A dragonfly sweater by Esprit. Even though it's grey I would seriously consider buying it if it was not sold out.

 A new cool and cute nail polish idea by Ciaté. A manicure with real flower. The blue version here is Bada-Bloom. There is a pink one too but I really like this soft blue.

I want a polka dress for spring. This one is by Newlook. I have seen one I like at H&M too but it's not on their website.

You may have seen in the news that someone stole that giant mango from Bowen, Australia. It appears it was just a publicity stunt. But...a giant mango...I want a giant mango now...for my garden...Maybe it's just the Bob (Squarepants) in me who needs it...I can so totally see it turned into a cute little house. "Hey, I live in a giant mango!" One more reason for me to want to visit Australia.

A London Victorian house. Just that would be awesome. A Victorian house, in London, in the very nice part of London, with plenty of WORKING bathrooms, lots of space, an extra little house in the garden, a magnificent magical garden, amazing views from the top rooms...wouldn't that be enough? Noooo...it also has a spaceship in the attic!!!!!!
